This evaluation method is applicable to lightsources and lighting systems intended for generalillumination of indoor spaces and some outdoorsettings, at light levels where photopic vision isdominant. It is best suited to characterize nominallywhite light sources (i.e., those that fall on or near thePlanckian locus). If a light source?s chromaticity fallsoutside of the chromaticity bins defined in ANSIC77.388-2017, then calculations based on thisTM should be interpreted with caution.
